This is the second of three actions brought by the cities surrounding the Seattle Tacoma International Airport against the Port of Seattle, the Puget Sound Regional Council, and the City of Sea-Tac the entities responsible for approving and implementing the Sea-Tac expansion project. All three actions essentially allege "that the GMA {Growth Management Act} requires at least one public entity . . . to ensure that the Sea-Tac expansion project is consistent with the comprehensive plans of neighboring jurisdictions . . . all of which call for the reasonable mitigation of impacts from such a massive project."
